Hi, I’m Blaine.

I’ve written 60+ bait making articles on my blog Jig Is Up Lurecraft and have built hundreds of jigs, spinnerbaits, and soft plastics… and I’m excited to put some of what I’ve learned into your hands.

The Jig Recipe Box was born from the simple idea that the best lure recipes deserve to be shared. I built this with some of the most passionate baitmakers I know, and I think you’ll find something in here worth building.

Every jig maker hits the same wall eventually.

You know how to pour. You know how to tie. But some days you sit down at the bench and think — what should I make?

That’s what The Jig Recipe Box was made for. It’s a collection of complete, buildable jig recipes from makers who obsess over this craft the same way you do. Each recipe contains everything you need to make it yourself – materials, color rationale, the whole nine yards.

Some of these recipes are classics. Some look like nothing you’ve ever seen before. But all of them come from makers who love this craft.
